Inspirational Reflection
Loss leaves an aching emptiness that no shallow platitudes can fill. The shortest verse in the Bible is simply 'Jesus wept' (John 11:35). Our Lord is not indifferent to your agony; He entered into human suffering. God does not demand that you immediately 'get over' grief. He promises that in your shattering brokenness, His intimate presence is closer than your breath.
Todays Prayer
Lord Jesus, my heart is shattered and the pain is heavy. I miss what was lost, and the silence aches. Thank You that You do not condemn my tears, but hold them sacred. Be my refuge today. When waves of grief knock me down, be the rock beneath my feet. In Your comforting name, Amen.
